Chapter 4 Summary
In this chapter "Maniac Magee" or Jeffery Makes one of his four appearenses. At a high school during 11th grade gym class where a dozen
kids were playing football. With the gym teacher who was also the football coach when the quaterback Brain Deheny threw a 60 yard throw to the best wide reciver james " hands " down. He was about to catch the ball and it vanished the kid ran up the field and nobody touched him. He got to the other end untouched and punted the ball. This was a better punt than anybody had ever thrown a prefect sprail and landed in james "hands " down hands the only thing they knew was he had a book in his hand. After this happened they did not belive it until they compared notes.
Chapter 2 Summary
This chapter tells you about the begging of manics life where he started out where he ended up living. He started out in hollinsburg and filally lived in two mills. But it took him a long time on the way this chapter says what the book is going to tell you .It is 200 miles from hollinsburg to two mills that is a long but it took him 51 weeks and his home was only the next town. Thats where manic was born. When you ask people if they have seen manic they will say yes some say there were parades just for some scarrlely old kid in beat up runners running.
Chapter 6 Summary
This chapter talks about a family the picklwells. How Mrs.picklwell sprags back her screen door and just whistles not a high pitch whistle and not low wistle the prefect whistle. so the kids can hear it not just any kid can here that whistle only those picklwell kids can. that whistle means dinner well at this dinner. there was a child that nobody knew. when they went in to the kitchen to clean off there plates domnic asked duke picklwell who is that next to you donald thought dion knew him dion thought it was deirdres new boyfriend. they went straight out the door up rako hill and scanned the train tracks there he was.The only thing they knew about him he had a book in his right hand
